Dotty Van Kleeck moved with her family to sunny southwest Florida in 1979. She opened a clothing store in Cape Coral. Dotty eventually sold the business.
She then went to work for the telephone company as a customer service representative. When her call center was closed due to cut backs she saw an opportunity to apply her customer service skills. Dotty become involved in an industry that was more in tune with the environment.
