Lehigh Acres Customer Likes HOT Water from Solar
June 2011: Hello Bryan!
I am writing to give feedback on your recent preventive maintenance call here on Tuesday, June 7, 2011.
The water temperature readings on the control panel increased within the first 24 hours of your adjustments and have steadily increased since that time. Last evening at 5:30pm, the temperature was at 151* on both the upper and lower elements of the tank, while the roof was 142* (down from an earlier high of 164*). This morning before taking my shower, both elements were reading 142*, and after the shower, the lower was 94* but the upper was still at 141*. (I prefer very short, but hot showers.)
I am so grateful for this new solar system! It began saving money since it was installed (Oct. 2010). Thank you for teaching me how to read and compare my current-to-previous energy usage on the electric bills. We are a very conservation conscious household here, so I know we are using less energy and leaving a smaller carbon footprint.
I am looking forward to the day we have a whole-house solar system in place. Thank you Bryan, Fafco, Dan Morrissey, and the rest of the crew at Fafco Solar!
